KEYSER - Minco Records recording artists Thunderhill are proud to announce the release of their new double-CD album, “Local Legend: 1963-2011,” due out on Saturday, Aug. 13.
The album release party, featuring a performance by the reunited band, friends and family, will take place that day at the world famous Honi Honi Bar in Deep Creek, Md.
The 55-song collection documents the entire 48-year history of the legendary band, from its beginnings as the award-winning ’60s folk trio The Thunder Hill Singers through their heyday as a top-drawing country comedy act in the West Virginia and Maryland areas during the ’70s and ’80s, ending with their recent, wildly popular reunion shows in the 21st century.
